I finished it!  I am pretty happy with how it turned out.  I feel that this 30 x 40 landscape painting is bright and colorful and fun which is exactly what I was going for!  I put some shading in today by the bottom of the red layer and to push the front trees closer to the front while pushing the other tress back.
